Compatible Dubrovin–Novikov Hamiltonian Operators,Lie Derivative,and Integrable Systems of Hydrodynamic Type

We prove that two Dubrovin–Novikov Hamiltonian operators are compatible if and only if one of these operators is the Lie derivative of the other operator along a certain vector field. We consider the class of flat manifolds, which correspond to arbitrary pairs of compatible Dubrovin–Novikov Hamiltonian operators. Locally, these manifolds are defined by solutions of a system of nonlinear equations, which is integrable by the method of the inverse scattering problem. We construct the integrable hierarchies generated by arbitrary pairs of compatible Dubrovin–Novikov Hamiltonian operators.     

Robin-type boundary control problems for the nonlinear Boussinesq type equations

In this paper, we study a linear and a nonlinear boundary control problems arising from viscous flows. The equations are of nonlinear Navier-Stokes type for the velocity and pressure, of transport-diffusion type for the temperature and the salinity. The essential difficulties are due to the nonlinear nature of a part of the boundary conditions and to the nature of the equations: time-dependent, coupled and nonlinear. The existence and the conditions of the uniqueness of the solution, for the variational problem, are studied. The control is of linear or nonlinear Robin-type and acts on a part of the boundary during a time T. The cost function measures the distance between the observed and the computed vorticity. The existence of an optimal control in the admissible set of states and controls is proved. A first order necessary conditions of optimality are obtained.

Classification of Extremal Double Circulant Self-Dual Codes of Lengths 64 to 72

Recently extremal double circulant self-dual codes have been classified for lengths n ≤ 62. In this paper, a complete classification of extremal double circulant self-dual codes of lengths 64 to 72 is presented. Almost all of the extremal double circulant singly-even codes given have weight enumerators for which extremal codes were not previously known to exist.

1 引言 在位移有限元中,九参数三角形板元的研究取得了丰硕成果,根据不同方法已构造出众多收敛性能很好的单元（见[1]、[2]、[3]）。相比之下,矩形板元的研究却较少报道,ACM元及广义协调元RGC—12是其中比较成功的单元.但是ACM是C~0元。其位移形函数的外法向导数平均值在单元间不连续。广义协调元是基于势能原理建立单元协调的,其自由度(协调条件)不对称是其本身的一个弱点,陈万吉研究表明。这种不对称性会破坏单元的几何不变性。     

Finite temperature Cornwall-Jackiw-Tomboulis formalism of Φ6 theory

The finite temperature effective potential for a scalar field with Φ⁶ interaction is calculated by extending the CJT formalism for composite operators. It is found that unrenormalized terms appear in the effective potential due to the presence of an unrenormalized mass term. Nonzero turning points are obtained both for positive and negativeλ. High temperature expansion is performed and the results are analysed numerically. Graphical analysis indicates symmetry restoration whenT→0.

Solution of approximate gluon evolution equation for small-x at fixed ‘ρ’

A simple method has been applied to solve the approximate gluon evolution equation for small-x at fixedρ(≡√ln(x ₀/x)/ln[ln(Q ²/Λ²)/ln(Q ₀ ² /Λ²)]. Numerical comparison is made with the predictions from ‘double asymptotic scaling’ and fit. Better agreement is found between our solution and fit nearρ=1. The solution gives approximate double scaling in this region having ‘hard’ pomeron with small contamination.
